Some kind of lover's song

We wrote our names out in the red morning sky
In the puffy white clouds trimmed with satin and gold leafs
And the coffee poured into our cups
Where its steam rose up and around the frames of our faces
Dancing about and out the open window
Where the breeze makes its way into our kitchen
Gently nudging the hair on your forehead
Come now my darling, take in all the air
Fill your lungs up so they can sing out
Out beyond our wildest dreams that we've dreamed up
In some crazy concocted plan
Hold my hand dear as we travel in song
Out of the window and onto the earth
Across the prairies and into the most desolate of places
Leaving the trace of a coffee scented love stain
We stain everything, nothing cannot help but soak up
Such a song that sings out so strong
With our names in the red morning sky
